Synopsis:
This book will assist radiology residents trying to pass the oral board examinations (ABR). Due to the sheer number of possibilities for each appearance of a finding on a radiologic study, it can currently take upwards of 6 months for a student to prepare a competent list of evaluations to examine. Equipped with this reference, one could begin reviewing images and potentially save literally 2 months of studying time. The book begins with coverage of 10 specific areas that are both a daily part of radiology practices, as well as an integral part of the board exam. Each specific chapter/section tags the differential lists to mneumonic lists and to each of these lists are attached to a representative image. This reference is the first to include these mneumomnic lists that will prove to be an invaluable asset to a student taking the board exam. Residents will also benefit from the fact that the sections are presented in the same order as they appear during the exam. This study guide is the first of it's kind, and a must have for anyone looking to get an advantage on this previously illusive and tedious exam.
